Melamine is an extremely durable resin-surface thermally fused to engineered wood substrates. It resists scratches, everyday wear, stains, and fading better than traditional paint or wood stains. It resists humidity, features a smooth, non-porous face that is easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth, and inhibits bacteria buildup.
