Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage warehouse inventory and keep records of the inventory
• Monitor and manage budgets
• Select carriers for transportation and negotiate rates and contracts with carriers
• Respond to and resolve complaints and problems
• Keep up-to-date on shipping carriers, routes and rates and any changes to them
• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
• Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints
• Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce

Job Responsibilities:
• Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies
• Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products
• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area
• Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables
• Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately
• Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
• Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments
• Utilize FedEx and UPS system to prepare ground, air, and freight packages for shipment
• Responsible for careful and neat packaging of outbound product
• Communicates daily with departments within the organization to communicate shipment information
• Maintain neat and orderly shipping area
• Participate in on-going inventory process
• Unpack and examine incoming shipments and record overages, shortages and damaged items
• Accurately put away and pull inventory to/from assigned locations
• Accept and assist with unloading of incoming shipments
• Responsible for delivery using company van
• Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications/Skills:

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
• High school diploma or higher
• 6 months logistics, retail, or customer service experience
• Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date
